The Akai Synthstation25 does not work with the Synthstation app and iOS5, however it does work with several other apps including Nanostudio, Fruity Loops, and Music Studio. Alternatively you can run the MidiBridge app in the background to enable the Synthstation25 to control GarageBand on the iPhone, and even wirelessly over wifi to Garageband on the iPad or a Mac! Well done MidiBridge!
An iPad App for Storify has just been released, which is great news because I've started to really enjoy using Storify for curating social media streams of events. The web interface for Storify did not work on the iPad, so an actual iPad App solves the creation on iPad issue.

Storify looks to be a useful tool for student curation and student-generated social media and critique. We'll be using it for several student projects this semester in Journalism etc... Stay Tuned!
