My list of essential productivity apps for mobile devices: iOS and Android (most [but not all!] also now available for Windows Phone 7 and the other now as good as dead mobile OS Symbian). - Fring or IM+ for multiclient instant messaging
- AirServer for iOS device mirroring for demos (Doubletwist and Airsynch on Android for limited Airplay connectivity)
- Eyetv for recording Freeview DTV & streaming to iOS Devices
- Pages for iOS or QuickOffice for document editing and sharing via iCloud or Google Docs. com
- Mendeley for citation management and synchronization on iOS Devices or Referey on Android
- Twitter for collaboration and information
- NetNewsWire or Flipboard or Pulse for RSS reading and Google Reader synchronization
- Wordpress (iOS) or iBlogger for managing multiple Blogs
- Evernote for note sharing and synchronization across all my devices
- Built-in shortcuts for screen grab in iOS and Android
